Bluesky

Your liked and saved Bluesky posts, grouped.

Bluesky grows fast and your likes there get unreadable just as fast. Pile imports your liked and saved posts, rebuilds threads and extracts links. Your Bluesky watch becomes searchable instead of scrolling into the void.

What Pile pulls out

Extracted, ready to revisit

  • The full text of each liked or saved post, not the truncated preview shown in the feed.
  • Rebuilt threads: when a post is part of a thread, Pile walks up the full chain.
  • Links shared inside posts and replies, extracted as separate resources.
  • The author, their handle, the date and the repost count, so you can filter by person or by reach.
  • Images and link cards embedded in the post.

Use cases

Concretely, what for

Find a technical thread six months later

You liked a thread about a tool or a pattern, but scrolling back through your Bluesky likes takes forever. Pile summarizes the thread on first ingest and indexes it. You find it by its substance, not by scrolling.

Centralize your multi-network watch

You read LinkedIn, X and Bluesky. Pile groups saved posts from all three into one Pile, with the same filters. You compare angles without switching tabs.

Build a list of accounts worth following

As Pile ingests your likes, it shows which handles appear most often in your saves. You identify your most useful Bluesky sources and tighten your follow list.

Good to know

Practical tips

  • Links shared in posts are extracted as resources, like on LinkedIn or X.
  • File your Bluesky watch into a dedicated vault to separate it from your other networks.
  • The thread summary saves you from manually scrolling an entire thread.
Troubleshooting

If something breaks

A liked post does not appear in Pile

This connector is still being wired: ingest is not yet active in production. Sign up to be notified the moment it opens. Once live, if a post is missing, trigger a manual sync from your source settings.

The rebuilt thread is incomplete

Pile walks the thread from the post you liked. If intermediate replies were deleted since, they will not appear. The thread is partial but still readable from the post you saved.

Pile asks for my Bluesky password

Bluesky authentication uses an App Password, not your main password. Create one in your Bluesky account settings (Privacy and security > App passwords) and use it in Pile.

Frequently asked

Does Pile post on my account?

No. Access is read-only: Pile reads your likes and saves, it never posts.
